ABOUT RECEIVABLE SAVVY

Founded in 2015, Receivable Savvy’s mission is to cultivate knowledge and understanding among suppliers in relation to Order-to-Cash processes while also delving into what they do, how they do it and most importantly—why they do it. As industry veterans ourselves, we completely get the notion that our supply chain is not only critical to our overall well-being, but also global and interconnected.

With curiosity as our guide, we strive to be the primary source of Order-to-Cash information for Finance, Accounting and Credit professionals.  We will also provide an active platform for professionals to receive and share best practice information.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Ernie Portrait

Ernie Martin is a well-rounded receivables industry professional with over 25 years of experience in financial supply chain management, marketing and communications. With a varied background, Ernie draws upon his extensive experience to share knowledge and best practice information with Finance, Accounting, Credit and Technology professionals via Receivable Savvy.

Prior to founding Receivable Savvy, Ernie spent time as the Director of Global Supplier Marketing at Tungsten Network where he experienced first hand the value suppliers bring to the supply chain. His resume also boasts time at several well-known brands and companies such as Delta Airlines, CIGNA Healthcare, Georgia Pacific, Centers for Disease Control and Kimberly-Clark. Ernie has also chaired the Vendor Forum of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

Ernie is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
